Photolibrary purchases Dubai agency CDI

Photolibrary_Dubai_UAEContinuing an aggressive global expansion, Photolibrary Group has purchased CDI The Image Library in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.  The acquisition represents another in a series of acquisitions by the Sydney based company that has spanned the globe.


CEO of Photolibrary Group, Glenn Parker says: "The purchase by Photolibrary Group of CDI broadens our reach further from Asia through the sub-continent to the Middle East. The new acquisition will provide a resource of over 2 million digital images for Middle East customers as well as offering customers the resources of the most experienced industry sales team in the region."

CDI The Image Library, formerly the regional representative agency for Getty Images, will be rebranded, "Photolibrary Middle East." Photolibrary's web-site for the region, under the main web-site for the company, www.photolibrary.com, will offer local currency pricing.
