Masterfile appoints Lisa Dempsey as Director of Client Services The Toronto based stock photo agency, Masterfile, has announced that it has appointed Lisa Dempsey to be its new Director of Client Services responsible for the territiores of the United States and Canada.  Dempsey has accepted the new position in Toronto where she will operate as the primary interface between Masterfile’s Sales and Business Development teams in order to develop new sales strategies.

Dempsey is a veteran in the stock photo agency business having served as the Director of Royalty-Free Motion at Sekani/Corbis Motion and later became Manager of FilmSales at Getty Images. Before she joined Masterfile, Dempsey was the Chief Executive Officer at First Light, which she successfully guided from its status as a Corbis agent to an independent stock photo agency in 2005.

Masterfile Executive Vice President Geoff Cannon says: “This new position provides an important leadership resource to our client-facing activities, that will help us strengthen the results of our sales efforts and further enhance the quality of our service.
