Thought Equity Motion (TEM,) the motion content licensing and management business based in Denver, has added a music licensing component to its web-site. The new music offering includes exclusive Rights Managed music clips, Royalty Free music clips and a selection of RF sound effects and loops. Prices for the Royalty Free music range from $29 to $59 for tracks of varying duration from 12 seconds to approximately four minutes. Short sound effect loops go for $9.

Telegraph Media Group has announced that it has tapped ITN On to produce a documentary series of eight original DVDs for Telegraph readers to be inserted in the Telegraph between April 14-19. The DVDs incorporate hours of original stock footage from ITN’s archive and are intended to provide a comprehensive account of Margaret Thatcher (the longest serving Prime Minister of the last century) starting with her life before entering politics, through her years as party leader then Prime Minister and her enduring legacy. Narrated by Anna Massey, this unique collaboration was an attempt to produce the definitive documentary series on Margaret Thatcher.


ITN Source has announced that it has contributed stock footage for two of this year’s biggest music feature films on two of the UK’s greatest bands - Joy Division and the Rolling Stones. Shine a Light, the critically acclaimed Rolling Stones documentary, directed by Martin Scorsese, features content from the ITN and Granada archives, both represented exclusively by ITN Source. The footage used in the film captures some of the legal clashes the Rolling Stones encountered in their career including Mick Jagger‘s drugs arrest in 1967, where he dismissed that he is an advocate of drug use. The film also includes archive content that captures the humorous side of Jagger who attended Keith Richard’s trial for the possession of drugs in 1977 and said to ITN “I never miss a case!”

Meadows will start at ITN Source in April and will be responsible for ITN Source’s sales operation, primarily in the UK. Previously Meadows served as the Senior Commercial Director for Chellomedia, the content and technology division of cable operator Liberty Global Inc. A new licensing business with entry level Footage, Still Image, and Music modules costing just GBP 4,500 (approx $9,000) each, combining two modules costs GBP 6,000 (approx $12,000).
