JustTechJobs Computer GeekIn another move toward improving the performance of Jupitermedia’s online media sector, the company announced it has acquired JustTechJobs.com, described as a “gateway to a collection of vertically focused technology job Web sites.” Visitors to the site will find specific categories of technology skills for which job seekers can post resumes and employers can find appropriately experienced candidates. The site lists 49 tech-related job categories, some general, such as Project Manager and Tech Sales, but most of them highly specialized, such as COBOL, Informix, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft.

"We are excited to have acquired JustTechJobs and its rich history of serving the Enterprise job market" stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia Corporation. "Our online media division attracts over 15 million IT professionals every month and amongst this group are thousands of job seekers and recruiters. Tech is booming and we believe that the combination of our readership with a tech job board is a natural adjunct business for our online media division," added Meckler.

Having acknowledged in their third quarter 2006 conference call with analysts that management has not supported the online media division sufficiently so far this year, the company has since announced the creation of a web-site (http://www.bITaplanet.com) and trade show (http://www.bITausa.com) dedicated to business IT alliance.
