Imagestate opens single price web-site with “oneprice”

Imagestate opens single price web-site with onepriceThe London-based provider of  still and video stock imagery, Imagestate Media, has launched a new web-site which offers a single price of  39 British Pounds (and US$79 or Euros 59) for any image or video clip.  The price covers a one-year license for on-line use only.  The web-site promotes the offer with the slogan, “One year Web usage. One Size, One Price.”

"We strongly believe that our customers will benefit from the greater flexibility offered by oneprice. says CEO Sheldon Marshall. “As well as getting a great deal for web-use, our main site enables them to extend the licence for advertising and print use as and when required. oneprice is the first of several product offerings that Imagestate Media will be offering to customers in the UK, USA and worldwide in the coming months."

The same price for both video and still imagery is unique in the industry.  The “oneprice” prices for one year of web-use, however, does not compare favorably with other on-line use prices such as the  ubiquitous US$49 price for on-line use launched by Getty last year and the $15 price announced by Corbis last week.
