Dan Heller, is a freelance photographer from in Marin County, California with a rather simple business model: Dan goes on adventure travel trips on assignment for companies who hire him to take pictures that they can use for their catalogs to promote their trips. He then uses those same images to sell fine art prints, or to relicense to other people or businesses for commercial use (ads, brochures, textbooks, magazine articles, mouse pads, newsletters, menus, product packaging, etc.).
