Meg Asaro
8 years experience in branding and marketing.
My passion is infusing culture into brands to make them relevant today but more importantly, tomorrow. I also rely heavily on consumer insight, knowing that a successful brand taps into certain emotions and instinctual needs. Some of the brands I have worked on include: Coke, Pepsi, Gillette (both Venus and Mach Three), Unilever, Jetblue, Bass Beer and Wilhelmina modeling. I have also been an art buyer for such clients as Accenture and Priceline.
I worked 4 years as creative strategist for Photonica, building and applying creative research to Photonica's specific collection needs. I was hired at a time when Photonica was losing its marketshare to bigger and faster competitors. Working side by side with the Creative Department, we gave direction to the creative team and structure to the collection, thereby increasing sales and brand presence in the marketplace.
