The change was enacted in hopes that buyers will come to recognize Blend Images as a premiere destination to quickly find multi-ethnic imagery. Blend Images has already signed agreements with many international agencies and anticipates an offering of more than 110,000 images including its current collection of 50,000 images.

“We recognize that the market for ethnically diverse content is vastly underserved, and that image buyers are often overwhelmed by the experience of searching on a general stock imagery site when only looking for quality multiethnic business and lifestyle imagery,” said Rick Becker-Leckrone, CEO of Blend Images. “Our focus, as a photographer-owned agency, has always been to aggregate the best ethnically diverse content within the industry, so partnering with the right agencies is an organic process of our business model.”

“Our clients have provided encouraging feedback related to a single destination portal for multiethnic photography – they’re delighted with a single access point to our whole collection,” said Robert Henson, Director of Channel Relations and Sales. “It’s a natural extension for us to partner with agencies who create compelling content that fits our market niche. Our offering is enhanced with a broader range of style and relevance, which in turn underscores diversity and our branding position.”
