ITN Source launches “New Classics” vintage footage collection
ITN Source, a division of ITN and a leading provider of stock footage from the UK, has announced that it has launched a new footage collection entitled ”New Classics” featuring more than 10,000 hours of digitized footage covering historic events between 1896 and 1970. New Classics footage has been plucked directly from ITN Source’s partners including Reuters, ITN, Fox Movietone, Images of War and Paramount.
Available to customers globally, New Classics covers people places and events that shaped the world we live in. The collection includes clips of royal families from around the globe; social, political and religious leaders; and iconic stars from the silver screen, music, fashion, nature and sport. It also covers pivotal moments in global conflicts throughout the world and advancements in technology and science.
Ian CheeWah, Managing Director of ITN Source, North America said: “For the first time we have created a comprehensive collection of content across our partners to offer a fresh perspective on some of the most iconic moments across the globe captured on film since 1896. It’s also the first time such a range of content has been made available online ensuring our customers get the right film and video material they need, when they want it, wherever they are in the world.”
