Global ImageWorks to make footage database searchable through Footage.netGlobal ImageWorks, a boutique full-service stock footage company, has signed a deal with Footage.net, the stock footage search engine, to make its entire database avialble on the Footage.net search platform. “We are extremely pleased to have Global ImageWorks on board,” said Footage.net president Domenick Propati. “At Footage.net, we’re focused on making footage research as simple and efficient as possible. The addition of this unique, high-quality collection to our search platform will greatly enhance our ability to help footage users discover the best motion content as quickly and easily as possible.”

The Global ImageWorks database, which includes fully searchable text records as well as 10,000 screenable sequences, most averaging 3 to 5 minutes in length, will now be available for search and screening through Footage.net along side the other world-class collections currently hosted on the portal.  Footage.net users will also be able to send Zap requests directly to the Global ImageWorks sales team.

“As a content-oriented library built by professional researchers, Global ImageWorks has chosen to digitize entire sequences and make them available for screening through our website, and now through Footage.net,” said Global ImageWorks president and founder, Jessica Berman-Bogdan. “Whether a client is doing deep research or looking for just a single stock shot, we believe this method gives clients greater creative choice by allowing them to view the content in its original context, which ultimately reduces research time by not having to click in and out of hundreds of short clips.”
