Oddball Film+Video building archive of quirky and unusual footage
Oddball Film+Video, a stock footage company based in San Francisco, has announced that it has recently added several interesting new collection to its archive including rare 1960s surf footage, licensed footage for Marlon Brando and Barak Obama docs, and exclusive footage in South India for Global Performance Media for their feature “Beard Club” a film exploring the social politics of facial hair.
Oddball Film+Video works regularly with the popular San Francisco based television show, “Mythbusters”. In a recent episode they used Oddball’s quirky footage of wittlers wittling, contortionists contorting, a crazy guy popping pocorn, and outrageous sci-fi horror movie trailers. In addition the offbeat footage agency has recently worked on projects including: Stock footage of Charles Manson and the Manson Family, Patty Hearst, the Zodiac killer case for “Notorious Places: San Francisco” for Chicago-based Company, Towers Productions. Oddball also worked with CNN to provide footage of Hawaii and Kenya for the Obama bio pic “Obama Revealed” which aired earlier this year.
