Art Resource now representing images from the National Gallery, London
New York based, Art Resource, a specialty library featuring fine art imagery, has announced that it has been selected by the National Gallery, London to serve as their official photo permissions representative in North America. The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of Western European painting in the world, with famous works ranging from as early as 1250 to 1900, covering all major styles, including the Renaissance, Baroque, Romanticism, Impressionism and Early Modernism.
Among the many iconic masterpieces from this collection to be offered through Art Resource for editorial and commercial use are: “The Arnolfini Portrait” by Jan Van Eyck, “The Ambassadors” by Hans Holbein the Younger, “The Virgin of the Rocks” by Leonardo da Vinci, “The Battle of San Romano” by Paolo Uccello, “Venus and Mars” by Sandro Botticelli and “Sunflowers” by Vincent van Gogh, to name a few. According to Dr. Theodore Feder, President of Art Resource the agency now represents more than 6,000 museum, institutions and monuments worldwide.
