ITN Source signs exclusive deal to represent footage from Asian News International
ITN Source, a leading provider of stock footage from the UK, has announced an exclusive representation deal with Asian News International (ANI), to represent the media company’s footage exclusively for global distribution. ANI is is known for its comprehensive collection of footage from South Asia including the Asian Films library which dates back to the late 1930s. “We’re delighted to have ANI on board. We’ve been looking to build up our Asian content for some time and ANI is the perfect partner with its mix of news, Bollywood and unusual videos. The addition of ANI significantly expands the global content base we represent and will deliver even greater value to our customers’ content needs,” states Asha Oberoi, ITN Source Content Director.
ANI footage is gathered from over 100 bureaus in India and South Asia and comprises news, entertainment, lifestyle, business, sports, science and quirky content. The collection includes memorable footage from India’s freedom movement, the birth of economic reforms and the wedding of Sonia Gandhi with Rajiv Gandhi.
