Masterfile taps AL Accardo to shoot health & wellness series
Masterfile, a stock photography company based in Toronto with offices in France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, has tapped Hamburg-based advertising photographer Al Accardo to shoot a series of images of wellness and beauty in a modern and contemporary way. The shoot took place in Hamburg, Germany with cooperation from Masterfile’s Art Director, Lars Richrath. “AL Accardo uses a soft, warm light to draw from the models their natural holistic glow. It’s a chic, contemporary take on the healing arts” the company stated in a recent press release.
Al Accardo, who has been working with Masterfile since the beginning of the year, discovered as a young man that photography was his calling. Having apprenticed for years in Italy before relocating to Hamburg, he has developed an aesthetic that is part Italian stylishness and warmth and part German precision and craftsmanship.
