Flat Pyramid creates 3D model content marketplace
Flat Pyramid a recent start-up from Los Angeles has launched a licensing platform exclusively for 3D computer graphics and 3D model content. The company is banking on what it sees as a shift in consumer behavior to embrace 3D content previously used only by big companies, in computer games, or in movie special effects.
The company is hoping to make ready-made 3D computer graphics part of our everyday communication with content that varies from highly finished photorealistic renderings to basic building blocks. Customers are already using 3D content in invention showcases; architectural and product visualizations; training and event simulations; 3D maps and on the Internet.
