I have expeirienced some of Mark Seliger`s work in the the past. Particularly his book, ‘Fotofile’. Overall the shoot for Macy’s 150th birthday was a triumph!

I hate Macy’s.  I am a cold blooded Macist(definition: someone that is prejudiced against Macy’s).  I wish they would go out of business.  I’m sick and tired of Macy’s turning into a monopoly, buying out local department store chains and converting them over to a faceless homogenous format.  Not to mention the ways they occasionally screwed me over when I was one of their underpaid impoverished employees.  Because of their monopolization on the market and their craptastic workplace for their overworked-and-underrespected workers, I boycott Macy’s.  Charter Club and INC brands(Macy’s exclusive labels) suck anyway, and the INC clothing line is overpriced and waaay too girly and cutesy and 1950s-ish.  Philadelphia was a lot better when they had Wanamaker’s, Strawbridge & Clothier, and Bamburgers...and no Macy’s!
