The development work was lead by Mary Evans IT Director, Mark Braund. “Having looked at the various website options commercially available, nothing quite gave us the flexibility we wanted, so we decided to produce the website ourselves. This enabled us to accommodate suggestions for improvements made by our clients” said Braund.

Besides search improvements the company is touting a new ‘collections’ section showcasing the many varied areas of history covered by Mary Evans. “We wanted to produce a website focused on simplicity and speed. As well as one-click downloads from thumbnails and preview images, Mark has also developed a powerful range of tools that allow more in depth searching for those who need it.” said Managing Director, Paul Brown.
