Mr. Stock Smarty Pants offering free advice for stock photographers

Send us your questions - You know abouttheimage as a classy, above-the-board, shining example of contemporary journalism. All that is about to change. Commencing next week, and at no small expense, abouttheimage will feature a bi-weekly question-and answer column featuring the wit, wisdom and occasional political diatribes of that international man of mystery from the stock picture industry, Mr. Stock Smarty Pants. Some of you may have already heard of this shadowy figure…others not.
In most cases, his reputation precedes him: the alleged deportation proceedings in several countries around the globe, the dalliances with French starlets, the fortune that he supposedly amassed as a very silent but lethal partner in one of the world’s most successful stock picture agencies. None of these stories has ever been substantiated, of course, any more than we can verify with any certainty his true identity. What we do know is that he is, without question, the most intelligent, insightful and articulate commentator on the stock picture industry working today (although ‘working” may be stretching things just a bit).
And now, dear readers, because we strive to do it ALL for you, we will bring you Mr. Stock Smarty Pants (or, as those of us who are lucky enough to be in occasional contact with him like to refer to him, “MSSP”) in every other Wednesday edition, beginning on November 7 and continuing every other Wednesday thereafter, assuming that MSSP can be located and that he manages to avoid incarceration. In our never-ending quest to make sure that our readers are the most enlightened in the entire stock picture universe, MSSP has (somewhat reluctantly) agreed to answer YOUR questions! That’s right…for no extra charge whatsoever, you can e-mail your question about the stock picture industry, on any related subject, to MSSP and, if he deems your question worthy of an answer, you’ll see his response right here in black-and-white. Don’t delay…knowledge like this is hard to come by, so send in your questions today and join with me in praying that Mr. Stock Smarty Pants completes his stay in rehab in time to meet his first deadline.
