Aurora Photos appoints Gregg Stallings as Director of Sales
Aurora Photos, an independent photo agency based in Portland Maine, has announced the appointment of Gregg Stallings as its Director of Sales. Based in the company’s NYC office Stallings will lead the company in its effort to grow in a tumultuous marketplace. The company has a reputation for representing a robust collection of editorial images as well as contemporary lifestyle photography.
Stallings brings to Aurora more than 15 years experience in the photography industry having worked The Image Bankbefore moving to Corbis as the Director of the Americas. After Corbis, Stallings founded the WireImage Creative collection for MediaVast, which was recently acquired by Getty Images and most recently Stallings owned a fine art photography gallery in Los Angeles.
Stallings will work alongside David Laidler in New York, who manages ‘SELECT’, an assignment representation division launched earlier this year with a unique roster of editorial photographers.
