Mark Butler, RF heavyweight moves to UpperCut Images
The UpperCut Images division of Punchstock announced today that Mark Butler has taken the position of Vice President in charge of Sales and Distribution. Originally founded by Punchstock owner Miles Gerstein as an RM collection, UpperCut Images will soon distribute a portion of its collection under the royalty free licensing model. Butler will manage worldwide distribution for the entire collection and oversee the launch of the new RF division.
Butler brings extensive experience to the job, especially related to the RF side of the business. He served as Director of International Operations for Digital Vision, a leading RF brand now owned by Getty Images. He left that post to develop the international network for Bananastock. After Jupiter Images purchased Bananastock, Butler stayed on as Country Director for the UK. A UK native, he will remain in that country working out of UpperCut’s London offices.
