Archaeological stock photography and footage now available from SitesandPhotos.com
Sites & Photos has announced the launch of its new stock photography and footage site specializing in archaeological photographs and video. The Tel Aviv, Israel based business now offers more than 80,000 archaeology images and approximately1300 videos. Sites & Photos was created by the respected archaeologist and photographer Samuel Magal to serve the needs of academics, publishers, and scholars with high quality images. The site covers more than 400 archaeological sites across the Mediterranean basin, and offers both rights-managed and royalty-free images with more than 25 CDs, a subscription service, and images available for individual license.
"Online archaeological research suffered from a glut of low-quality, uncataloged media," noted Magal. "Simply put, we created SitesandPhotos.com to make life easier for researchers. By offering high-quality images and video supplemented by comprehensive background knowledge, all organized in a logical catalog, SitesandPhotos.com is an indispensable tool for universities, publishers, and researchers worldwide."
