New and improved website at Thought Equity Motion
Thought Equity Motion (TEM,) a supplier of online motion content, licensing and professional representation services, has launched a new web-site with features designed to facilitate the work of both clients and suppliers. The web-site also currently features a contest for the best thirty second commercial spot created by clients using sound and video clips provided by TEM. The winner will receive $500 and the possibility to earn royalties on future licensing of the spot.
While stock video and footage reportedly accounts for only a small percentage of overall stock industry revenue, many industry leaders consider the sector a promising source of growth in 2007. The widespread use of broad-band Internet access has not only made the use of videos on web-sites more practical, but it has also made the business of showing, editing and delivering footage online more feasible. Getty CEO Jonathan Klein includes the improvement of its stock video division in that company’s strategy for growth this year.
TEM’s web-site allows for easy searching and viewing of its deep collection of both RF and RM stock footage with the ability to view shot reels through a pop-up window without having to go to another page.. It also allows its suppliers or prospective suppliers to easily upload new footage clips for a revenue split or full buyout. The new site also offers Enhanced messaging that speaks to specific customer verticals (i.e. ad agencies, production companies, etc.) and enhanced messaging about clearance, project management, research and footage assurance services.
