Lucky Oliver offers 50% royalties until 2007
The micro-stock site, LuckyOliver, has offered its submitting photographers 50% royalties for the life of any image submitted and accepted by midnight PST on December 31, 2006. The offer represents a significant boost in revenue share as LuckyOliver normally splits revenue 70/30 with 30% going to its photographers.
"Ahh, the week between Christmas and New Year's eve is somewhat of a no-man's-land when it comes to work versus relaxation," said Bryan Zmijewski, founder and leader of LuckyOliver. "We wanted to offer an incentive for folks to decide to finally upload the rest of their image portfolio, or to look back through the photos they've taken throughout the year and see if they have additional photos they'd like to submit. Offering a 50% royalty on these photos may be just the catalyst some people need to move off the fence and fully into the LuckyOliver family."
