ANP Photo now offering assignment photography
The Dutch news agency ANP has now entered the field of assignment photography as a result of its takeover of Capital Photos. According to Bas van Beek, Director of ANP Photo, Capital Photos is one of the leading Dutch agencies for assignment photography and mainly works for industrial companies and organisations.
Capital Photos will continue to operate independently in spite of being part of ANP. Its founder Ruud Taal will continue to be responsible for the company, which has seven staff. Both the brand and the office in Schiphol-Oost are to be retained.
It is planned to expand the PR images division, and Capital will, understandably, use the news agency’s distribution structures.
