Masterfile announces enhanced searching with Tag Clouds
The Toronto Canada based stock photography company Masterfile, has released a new search related feature on its site called Tag Clouds. Tag Clouds are a unique way of displaying keywords with a visual cue to the viewer letting them know the most popular words and phrases used to arrive at a particular image. The more popular the keyword the bigger the font is displayed. This can be helpful for designers who are not quite sure what keywords to use. By looking at the tag cloud the user can identify the more important keywords and click on any of the keywords to launch a new search.
John McDonald, Vice-President Marketing, Masterfile Corporation had this to say about the Tag Clouds. “Tag Clouds can reduce the amount of time you spend thinking of keywords to filter large generic searches, like ‘woman’ or ’man’ or ‘people’. If someone else has searched for ‘woman portrait eye contact’ in the past, you can simply click a link to refine your search. The introduction of Tag Clouds is yet another way we are enhancing the user experience on Masterfile. “
