Rex is donating images to children's charityThe British stock photo company, Rex Features, has donated the use of a group of its images to Plan-UK, a charity for impoverished children around the globe.  Founded nearly 70 years ago, Plan is one of the largest child-centered community development organizations in the world. Over 120,000 people in the UK sponsor a child with Plan and the money they give is used to help create practical, sustainable solutions to community problems, to build safer, healthier, happier futures for children.

A child with a sponsor has someone who, like their family, cares about their well-being. Rex Features' images will be used in a series of post-cards depicting various aspects of life in the UK for sponsors to send to the children they support.   For sponsors, knowing that the money they give is enabling whole communities, yet also having a unique and personal link to an individual child is a very interesting and rewarding way to give.

Plan-UK works in 62 countries on projects and initiatives that address the causes of poverty and its consequences for children's lives. The organization works with children, their families and communities to build a world where children are safe, healthy and capable of realizing their full potential.
