Reuters expands in Switzerland

Reuters_Pictures_SwitzerlandReuters has announced its intention to expand and restructure its Swiss picture service. According to the agency, “quality, selection and real-time speed” will be improved. Six Reuters staff photographers and the same number of freelances will cover political, business, sports and entertainment events in Switzerland. Rubens Sprich, Reuters Switzerland’s chief photographer, has been appointed to run the new service, which launched on 1 October. Stefan Hartmann, VISUELL
