Sharona Smith Departs Beateworks/Corbis
Sharona L. Smith, Vice President of Beateworks has left the company shortly after it was acquired by Corbis (March 2006). Ms. Smith will be offering her services as a consultant as My Sharona Consulting, where she is seeking opportunities to help jump start business and new product launches. During her tenure at Beateworks, Ms. Smith helped achieve 100% annual growth in revenues and was instrumental in creating the Beateworks@Home brand.
Ms. Smith has an extensive background in senior corporate assignments in the area of foreign operations. Some of her past clients include: SAP America in Philadelphia, a German company launching their Enterprise Application products in North America; Computer Associates in Vienna, Austria where she was responsible for launching the company's application software division in Russia and Eastern Europe, and Anderson Consulting in South Africa where she started the business application software sales division.
