Corbis launches Media Management Service in Europe
Last March, Corbis CEO announced, among several initiatives, the company’s plans to delve deeper into the digital asset management business. Corbis had acquired eMotion in 2005, a provider of hosted business applications for managing digital media assets and marketing content. Today, Corbis took another step in that direction announcing the European launch of Corbis Media Management Services at the Henry Stuart DAM (Digital Asset Management) Symposium which took place in London on June 20th and 21st.According the press-release issued by the company, the business responds to “the needs of corporations struggling with growing amounts of digital assets”. The service has three components:
CreativePartner – accelerates and simplifies the review and approval of creative work in progress with a comprehensive suite of project-based collaboration and media annotation tools
AdPartner – stores high-quality branded templates such as print advertisements and customized sales tools
LogoPartner – enables the delivery of brand identity elements through a defined decision process ensuring the appropriate logo for each usage
