Dreamstime offering extended licenses
Dreamstime, the Tennesee based royalty free (RF) micro-payment site, has recently introduced four new license types to extend the use of the RF license currently offered. This appears to be in response to customer demand to utilize images offered from the micropayment site for uses not included in the standard RF agreement. The new license types are offered at relative premium pricing compared to what is typically offered by a micropayment site varying from $74 for the I-EL license, to $350 for the SR-EL license (see definitions below). Contributors have the option to offer these extended license types and are permitted to set their own pricing if they value their work above the minimum price suggested by Dreamstime. Currently it is not possible for customers to search for images that allow the extended license and it remains to be seen how popular the new license types will be to customers.
Here are the four extended license types offered by Dreamstime:
Increase Max Copies (I-EL) - extends the regular Royalty Free license to a maximum amount of printed copies of 2,500,000. (Suggested pricing is $74 per image).
Web Usage (W-EL) - Electronic Items for Resale: this license includes the right to use the photos for web templates that are sold to more customers, screensavers, e-cards, PowerPoint presentations or as wallpapers on cell phones. Maximum number of electronic items is 10,000 copies. (Suggested pricing is $148 per image).
Print Usage (P-EL) - Physical Items for Resale: includes the right to use the photos for T-shirts, postcards, greeting cards, mugs, mouse pads, posters, calendars, framed artwork that is to be sold to other customers, for a maximum amount of 10,000 copies. (Suggested pricing is $222 per image).
Sell the Rights (SR-EL) - This license represents a full ownership of the downloaded image. The buyer can use it exclusively, and include it in any type of design with just a few restrictions: sensitive subjects may still apply and the buyer may not claim that the file was created by him nor resell it as a photo. (Suggested pricing is $350 per image).

I guess you get charged for anything these days, even using photos on t-shirts.
