Henri Nannen prize for Jim Gehrz
The American photographer Jim Gehrz has been awarded the Henri Nannen Prize for his reportage "Die Soldatin Jessica Clements" (American title: "Against All Odds"), published in the German magazine View. The series of images, which won the award in the Best Photographic Achievement section, documents the situation of Sergeant Jessica Clements, who returned seriously wounded from the Iraq war.
