Comments (0)

CartoonStock has opened CSL Vintage, a collection of historical cartoons and illustrations. The designs, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries, come from English and American artists such as Thomas Nast, Sir John Tenniel, James Gillray and George Cruikshank. Thematically, the collection covers most important political and social events of the times, such as the American Civil War, the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. In addition, the collection offers literary illustrations from, among others, the works of the Brothers Grimm, Lewis Caroll, Defoe and Dickens.
