Superstock/a21 has just announced that it has opened a sales office in New York City.  The new office will allow sales people to better meet the needs of our current clients and support superstock’s growing business. "We're very excited about our new office in New York City, and the opportunity it affords us to deepen relationships with our clients," said Candice Crough, Vice President, Sales of SuperStock, who will be based in New York and manage the office. "It is very important for us to satisfy our clients by maintaining strong relationships with them, especially in the key New York advertising and publishing market," noted Thomas Butta, CEO of SuperStock. SuperStock is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL and, through its UK subsidiary, has two offices in the United Kingdom. Click here for the original press release.

It’s funny. Years ago I represented in Italy Superstock for a few years. I started to collaborate with Superstock when they still had an office in New York , but a couple of months later Superstock opened its office in Jacksonville. I asked Mark Stater and Bill Bierman if it wasn’t a hazard to leave New York and they told me that it wouldn’t have made any difference because Fedex was working very well and the clients would have had the same service and since they had an 800 phone number, the clients wouldn’t have realized whre they were located. More than ten years later , in the Internet era , at Superstock they think that to have an office in N.Y. will help their business. Very funny, isn’t it?

Pino,

The SuperStock you worked with years ago is not the same SuperStock that you’re reading about today. The company was acquired by a company called A21 Inc. (http://www.a21group.com) in March of ‘04 and the individuals there understood the importance of having a presence in NYC...hence the NEW SuperStock & NEW NYC office.

Regards,

Super Guy
