Liz Huebner retiring as CFO of Getty Images

Liz_huebner_retire_gettyGetty Images announced that Chief Financial Officer, Liz Huebner, plans to retire during the first half of 2006. Ms. Huebner has been with the company since October 2000 and will remain actively involved in the management of the company until her successor is appointed. "Serving as CFO for Getty Images has been an honor, and my decision to retire has not been an easy one." said Liz Huebner. Commenting on today's announcement, Jonathan Klein, co-founder and CEO, stated, "When I hired Liz five years ago, she told me then that she planned to retire early and, as ever, Liz is doing exactly what she said she would  do.  Liz's contribution to the success of Getty Images over the past five years has been enormous, and the strong position we are in today is a testament to her legacy."
